- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Every Other Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our manufacturing team in State College, PA. In this role, you will perform a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations on complex electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products.
The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic assembly, soldering, blueprint reading, and working in a team-oriented production environment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility supporting advanced technology products while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities- Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations on electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products.
- Follow detailed verbal and written work instructions, engineering documentation, and assembly procedures.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Adjust, align, fit, and assemble components to meet engineering specifications.
- Perform hand soldering on electronic assemblies and components.
- Utilize hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, soldering irons, and other assembly equipment.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
- Use Microsoft Office applications to support production activities and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify production issues and contribute to process improvements through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and schedules.
- Traverse the production floor throughout the workday.
- Safely lift, carry, and transport materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant electronics, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly experience; OR
- Associate Degree or other two-year post-secondary technical degree with 0-2 years of related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material.
- Mechanical or electrical assembly experience, including soldering.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 8+ years of related assembly experience; OR
- Associate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Electrical background at the component level.
- J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification or experience.
- Good hand-eye coordination and experience performing work under a microscope.
- Working knowledge of electronic theory related to RF transmission, receiver circuits, analog and digital circuitry.
- Ability to troubleshoot RF and digital circuits to the component level.
- Experience calibrating RF circuitry and electronic equipment.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Signal Generators
- Spectrum Analyzers
- Power Meters
- RF Test Equipment
- Experience identifying and resolving technical issues in electronic assemblies.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and manufacturing best practices.
- Modern, state-of-the-art production facility.

- Fast-paced production setting requiring attention to detail and quality.
- Standing, walking, and moving throughout the production floor for extended periods.
- Use of microscopes, hand tools, soldering equipment, and electronic test equipment.
