Manufacturing Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler for a temp-to-hire opportunity in State College, PA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented production professional with 1 to 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work, precision assembly, and contributing to high-quality products in a structured manufacturing environment.

As a Manufacturing Assembler, you will perform routine assembly tasks involving miniature components, hand soldering, bonding, cable assembly, limited product testing, and work under a microscope. This position offers the opportunity to build valuable technical skills, cross-train on different production areas, and grow within a team-focused environment that values safety, quality, Lean practices, continuous improvement, and respectful collaboration.

• Assemble product components, sensors, cable assemblies, and medical device-related components according to approved procedures, drawings, diagrams, work orders, and verbal instructions.
• Perform hand soldering, bonding processes, attaching and closing processes, fixture preparation, and limited testing of completed products.
• Work under a microscope and handle miniature components with precision while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Complete required production documentation, including work orders, Device History Records, data sheets, lot control records, and labor entries in the MRP system.
• Follow all health, safety, housekeeping, 5S, quality system, manufacturing, and Lean continuous improvement procedures.
• Maintain equipment, tools, fixtures, and work areas while communicating material shortages or production issues to the appropriate lead or supervisor.
