RN - PACU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift (8s, 10s, and 12s); no weekends or holidays.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with Epic experience to provide professional nursing care based on current Ambulatory Care standards, including those set by ASPAN and AORN. This role emphasizes pre-operative and post-operative care while facilitating the transfer of patient care to the receiving unit.

• Provide nursing care for a broad range of outpatient services related to medical and oncology patients.
• Focus on pre-procedure and post-procedure care, including care for surgical patients and emergency/inpatient cases.
• Utilize the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to ASPAN and AORN standards of care.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergency situations appropriately.
• Function effectively as a team member and liaise between patients and staff.

• Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Proof of successful completion of EKG course preferred.
• Must have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with renewals every two years.
• Strong background in pre and post-operative care.
