Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Nursing Assignment Duration

This is a 13‑week contract position.

Nights: 2 shifts per week, from 1845 to 0715 and 2 shifts from 2245 to 0715, including every other weekend.

The Registered Nurse in this position provides direct professional nursing care to patients. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care provided to the patient.

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a professional and supportive demeanor while interacting with patients and staff.

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
• A minimum of one year of full‑time experience in psychiatric nursing or in a Behavioral Health program preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Pennsylvania.
• Meets American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews every two years.
• Crisis Prevention Institute's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI NCI) training and renews every two years thereafter.
