The Clinic LPN provides primary clinical support to the provider, patient, and their family to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition. The LPN follows up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in the medical record to ensure continuity and quality of care. The role promotes a clean environment and meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.

Additional duties include obtaining and documenting patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and providing basic medical data for the provider; preparing patients for examinations; assisting providers with minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations; collecting and preparing laboratory specimens and completing associated paperwork; documenting ongoing patient communication and prioritizing it to the provider; responding to patient questions and requests;

administering medications and vaccines including intradermal and skin testing under provider direction and per scope of practice; and cleaning and setting up examination and treatment rooms between cases.

Graduate from Specialty Training Program – Nursing (Required)

Minimum of 1 year – Nursing (Preferred)
