• 8-hour shifts:
  Staff rotate through , ,
• 40 hours per week
• Voluntary weekend coverage and call

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program (BSN preferred)
• Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of prior Operating Room experience
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, current and maintained every two years
• Strong teamwork, communication, and liaison skills
• Poised and adaptable demeanor with patients, families, and colleagues
• Solid knowledge of perioperative nursing (AORN standards)
• Willingness to participate in a 6-month in-house OR course if needed

• Conduct ongoing patient assessment and develop plans of care in pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op settings
• Adapt care plans to address evolving patient needs and surgical interventions
• Maintain sterile fields and surgical equipment readiness according to aseptic principles
• Apply perioperative nursing and surgical safety standards
• Communicate patient information and provide preoperative education to patients and families
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge and skills in perioperative nursing, technology, equipment, and best practices
