Position: Travel Registered Nurse OR Job

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices; assist providers in patient care and education; collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
  • Triage new patients and gather necessary reports; triage pre‑ and post‑operative patients by phone as appropriate; respond to clinical needs promptly.
  • Perform wound care tasks such as dressing changes and suture removal as ordered; assist in office or ambulatory procedures as needed.
  • Complete FMLA, disability, and other administrative paperwork; support front desk and clinic operations with clinically related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, communicate with patients, families and caregivers, and contribute to care planning and patient education.
Requirements
  • Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider); BLS must be current with renewal every two years.
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience:

    One year nursing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge/

    Skills:

    Basic knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT coding guidelines; ability to communicate clearly, interpret physician instructions, and react calmly during emergencies; ability to work in a fast‑paced clinic/office environment and administer medications as needed.
