Registered Nurse – Nursing

12 hr shifts; , every other weekend

36 Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• License as a Registered Nurse in the state
• 2 years of previous RN experience required
• Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge through use of the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care to meet those needs.
• Implement nursing measures and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and other treatment measures.
• Function as a team member and liaison between patients and staff.
• Communicate in a professional manner at all times with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Maintain a high level of mental and emotional tolerance when dealing with patients.
