Registered Nurse – Women's Health

Schedule:

Days ; 3-12s per week, every other weekend

Hours:

36 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed every two years
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, renewed every two years
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, renewed every two years
• Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess the health status and developmental level of childbearing women, neonates, and their families.
• Develop and implement a nursing care plan based on identified needs.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and infant care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Support vulnerable patients and families-at-risk to prevent potential health issues.
• Maintain knowledge and competencies in the care of women and infants.

Compliance / Notes:

Maintains an awareness of professional standards and issues. Participates in ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in women's health care.
