Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

$2129.76/week –

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of both mother and infant through comprehensive assessments, planning, and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess maternal and neonatal health status, including physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
• Monitor labor progress, identify complications, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and neonatal care practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and infant outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Must have experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Hold and maintain BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications, renewing every two years.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure environments.
