Adult Nurse Practitioner locums coverage needed for an inpatient ICU in Pennsylvania with nights only and no call. Low census setting, 10 bed ICU with typical nightly volume of 4 to 6 patients.
Practice Setting- Inpatient ICU coverage, adult patients.
- Solo overnight NP coverage with physician support available by phone.
- Typical nightly census 4 to 6 patients in a 10 bed unit.
- Nights only, 7p to 7a.
- 7 to 14 shifts per month.
- Ongoing blocks of coverage from late 2026 into mid 2027.
- No call requirement.
- Airway and access, intubation, arterial puncture, arterial line placement, central line placement.
- Thoracic procedures, thoracentesis, chest tube placement.
- Abdominal procedures, paracentesis.
- Neuro procedure, lumbar puncture.
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner.
- Board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner.
- Active Pennsylvania license required, facility will not wait for license.
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required.
