Field Lead - Ecological Restoration

A growing ecological restoration organization is seeking a Field Lead to oversee hands‑on restoration projects and support field crews in delivering high‑quality environmental work.

• Lead daily field activities including native planting, soil work, erosion control, and invasive species management
• Supervise and train Technicians and crew members
• Ensure safe working conditions and proper equipment use
• Maintain project logs, planting records, and pesticide documentation
• Support scheduling and coordination with Project Managers

• Background in ecology, forestry, agriculture, soil science, or related field
• Ability to identify native and invasive plant species
• Experience operating restoration or landscape equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied conditions

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone passionate about ecological restoration and land stewardship.
