Plant Health Care Specialist

That's where the Plant Healthcare Specialists' role comes in.

This is a largely independent role. You'll operate mostly solo in the field, scouting properties, diagnosing pests/diseases/nutrient issues, developing IPM-based treatment plans, and performing applications (foliar sprays, soil/root injections, trunk injections) with precision and abiding by regulatory compliance.

Expect to manage your own daily route, maintain detailed records, handle equipment calibration and safety protocols, and communicate treatment outcomes directly with clients when needed. The rest of the team is focused elsewhere, so this position doesn't come with constant crew interaction or frequent "attaboys". It's often thankless in the moment, requiring strong self-motivation, discipline, and pride in unseen impact.

Yet the contribution is major. Your work prevents decline, extends tree lifespans, protects client investments, and supports our company's reputation as true stewards of the urban forest.

We're seeking someone with:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on PHC/IPM experience in residential/commercial tree care
• Current PA Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Solid knowledge of dendrology, common pests/diseases, and treatment methods
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with high accountability
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist or related degree/certifications
