Foxdale Village, a life plan community guided by Quaker values, is a non‑profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in State College, PA. Founded in 1985, Foxdale offers 57 apartments and 148 cottages, along with skilled nursing (46 beds), memory care, and personal care (55 beds). It has been voted “Best Retirement Community in State College, PA” for over a decade.

Responsible for maintaining Foxdale’s campus grounds and landscaping.

• Sweep carports, driveways, and walkways as designated by the Maintenance Manager.
• Weed bedding areas.
• Trim shrubs and trees.
• Mow lawns.
• Plant flowers.
• Transplant and divide perennials.
• Fertilize lawn and shrubs.
• Maintain water level in the fountain.
• Keep equipment in good operating condition (change oil, sharpen mower blades, and repair small engines).
• Serve in on‑call status during inclement weather and assist with snow removal as needed.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Complete maintenance tasks as needed.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training: Ability to earn a state pesticide license is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to use the Internet for research and ordering supplies, and to communicate effectively with staff
