QA Specialist / Manager, Quality Engineering
Summary
Inspects finished products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and ensures that final products conform with established tolerance levels for quality and performance. Documents all instances of non‑conformance and rejected products in production reports.
Responsibilities- Prepares required inspection certifications.
- Typically reports to a supervisor.
- Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
- Inspect Products:
Review products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards. - Conduct Tests:
Perform quality tests and measurements using various tools and equipment to identify defects or deviations from specifications. - Document Findings:
Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control processes, summarizing rework and waste as necessary. - Collaborate with Teams:
Work closely with production teams to prevent non‑conforming products and continuously improve manufacturing processes. - Follow Quality Standards:
Adhere to quality management system (QMS) procedures and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Basic understanding of quality inspection (e.g., medical devices) and regulated environment.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills in the local language (English).
- Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data (Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel).
- Flexibility to changing needs of the business and department, and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Organized and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Oracle and EDHR experience – preferred.
