Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quality and Receiving Tech role located in the State College–DuBois Area. The Quality and Receiving Tech will inspect incoming materials, components, and finished goods to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards. This role includes reviewing purchase orders, packing lists, and certifications; documenting and reporting nonconformances; and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

The person in this position will perform routine quality checks on production processes, assist with internal audits, maintain accurate records in quality management systems, and support inventory accuracy through proper labeling and traceability. Daily work also involves collaborating with engineering, production, and logistics teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely, compliant material flow within the facility.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with experience inspecting materials and products against defined specifications.
  • Proficiency in Quality Management and Quality Auditing practices, including documentation, recordkeeping, and participation in internal audits.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards; familiarity with measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, electronics, or related technical environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field (e.g., quality, electronics, manufacturing) is a plus.
