Job Description and Position Requirements
Chopra Lab is looking for part‑time research support assistants.
Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.
- Prepare seeds for greenhouse and field planting.
- Assist in planting and crop management in greenhouse and field grown plants, following agronomic practices.
- Collect plant data from seed germination to maturity.
- Collect and transport samples to the lab for PCR‑based genotyping; DNA, RNA and protein isolations.
- Perform crossings / pollinations and selfs of selected plants.
- Harvest and send samples for analysis.
- Perform seed collection, drying, storage and processing.
