Position Requirements
The College of Agriculture is seeking a part‑time research assistant for the Lowry Weed Ecology Lab to assist with experiments in both the field and greenhouse.
Job Duties- Collection and processing of plant and soil samples.
- Data collection and data entry.
- Set up and maintenance of experiments.
Research projects will address key questions such as:
- Must be able to work weekdays during the entire summer.
- A driver's license is required (personal vehicle not required).
- Must be willing to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors.
- Must be organized, able to work independently and within a group, demonstrate attention to detail, and follow instructions.
- 20 hours per week.
The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
Background Checks/ClearancesEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies. A valid driver's license and a successful motor‑vehicle records check will also be required.
