Job Description and Position Requirements

The Rosa lab in the Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to hire part-time research assistants to support a collaboration between the Rosa Lab and USDA Forest Service. The role involves assisting with analysis and synthesis of findings from several years of biometric and plot-level data for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

• Assist in the analysis and synthesis of longitudinal biometric and plot-level data.
• Support the publication of findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Work collaboratively with the USDA Forest Service.

• Strong background in statistics and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in experimental design, implementation, and execution of field experiments related to forest ecological research.
• Degree in evolution, ecology, organismal biology, or related fields.
