Merchandise Associate and Cashier

Home Goods, a leader in the manufacturing and retail of quality home merchandise, is seeking Merchandise Associates and Cashiers to support daily store operations. In this role, you'll stock and organize merchandise, set up attractive product displays, and ensure shelves are clean and well-presented. At the front end, you'll operate the register, process transactions accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service. You'll work closely with a supportive team, gain hands-on retail experience, and have opportunities to grow within a collaborative and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and sales floor with merchandise according to plans and standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
• Operate POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and other payment types following company procedures
• Assist customers in locating products and answering basic product questions
• Monitor inventory levels and report low or damaged stock
• Follow loss prevention, safety, and cleanliness procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily store and sales goals
