Oncology Account Executive

We are looking for a field‑based oncology account executive in State College, PA to support our liquid biopsy portfolio. The role focuses on driving sales volume for Northstar products and services, building relationships with oncologists and other members of the cancer care community in the designated geography. The position reports to a Regional Manager – Oncology.

• Increase revenue and drive market development through direct sales to individual oncologists.
• Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly in your geography.
• Conduct effective prospecting, cultivate new business and maintain key relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated successful sales track record (e.g., President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or multiple quarters/years at or above goal).
• Experience selling to medical providers.
• Experience selling medical diagnostics, medical or surgical devices.
• Lives within the defined territory and centrally located to defined accounts.
• Commitment to travel within the defined territory.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present to internal and external customers.
• Effective time‑management skills, capable of assessing and prioritizing opportunities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, thinking strategically and executing tactically.
• Acts with a sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
• Consultative sales mindset; ability to assess medical professionals’ needs, coordinate logistics, and problem solve.
• Strong desire to work in a startup environment, independent, with internal drive to succeed.

• Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN) with experience ordering late‑stage cancer liquid biopsy tests.

• Base pay + uncapped commissions.
