Position Overview
The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management is seeking a soil lab assistant who will gain field experience in sampling and describing soils in forest, agricultural and wetland areas; conducting some laboratory work like particle size analysis and pH measurements, data entry; and maintenance of field equipment.
Responsibilities- Gain field experience in sampling and describing soils in forest, agricultural and wetland areas.
- Conduct laboratory work including particle size analysis and pH measurements.
- Perform data entry.
- Maintain field equipment.
- Background check clearance required upon employment.
