We are seeking skilled Form Carpenters to construct, align, and dismantle forms for a variety of concrete structures, assist with finishing poured concrete, and ensure high-quality results while strictly adhering to safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities- Build, set, and strip concrete forms for footings, walls, columns, decks, and slabs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal formwork to specifications.
- Install braces, supports, and scaffolding to hold forms in place.
- Ensure forms are level, plumb, and properly aligned.
- Patch, repair, and clean forms for reuse.
- Assist with site layout and basic carpentry tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with foremen and other trades to meet schedule demands.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
- Minimum of two years of related experience in form carpentry
- Current OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, stairs, and climb out of ditches
- Must wear proper protective equipment at all times
- Physical ability to work in demanding environments and lift heavy materials as required
- Knowledge of concrete forming systems and methods
- Ability to read construction drawings and take accurate measurements
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
