Responsibilities- Perform concrete finishing services for flat work, site concrete, foundations, sidewalks, and slabs, ensuring smooth, level surfaces that meet project specifications.
- Lead a crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to specification, delegating tasks and coordinating daily workflow.
- Tie rebar, set forms, and assist with concrete pours as needed, including monitoring pour consistency and coordinating with delivery drivers.
- Prepare footers and other related concrete work, ensuring proper depth, grading, and reinforcement placement.
- Operate hand and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds to achieve the desired finish.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality control at all times, enforcing PPE use and correcting hazards before they cause issues.
- Inspect finished work for defects and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet project goals and timelines.
- Minimum of two (2) years of concrete related experience (preferred)
- Required experience in placement and finishing of large commercial concrete slabs
- Knowledge of ADA standards and specifications is required
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders and stairs
- Good communication skills
- Must wear proper protective equipment at all times
- Reliable transportation to travel to job sites
- Current OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
