Boiler Technician

As a Boiler Tear Down Technician, you will manage the physical disassembly, thorough evaluation, maintenance, and reconstruction of various boiler systems. Your primary focus involves the safe breakdown of equipment, diagnosing component degradation, assisting in essential fixes, and restoring units to peak performance. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in both high- and low-pressure boiler environments who are adept at handling the physical demands of heavy mechanical maintenance.

• Execute full and partial teardowns of both high- and low-pressure boiler units.
• Break down boiler assemblies to facilitate detailed inspections and necessary maintenance.
• Ensure boiler longevity by removing, cleaning, and reinstalling parts during service intervals.
• Evaluate internal parts to identify signs of corrosion, wear, or other issues that necessitate replacement.
• Help the team define the scope of repairs by reporting findings from the teardown process.
• Restore system functionality by performing mechanical repairs and swapping out damaged parts.
• Reconstruct boiler systems precisely after maintenance or repair tasks are finished.
• Provide essential support during boiler outages, shutdowns, and general maintenance projects.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to safely dismantle and rebuild boiler systems.
• Keep the workspace tidy and ensure all removed parts are managed and stored correctly.
• Report equipment status and necessary repair requirements clearly to the relevant team members.
• Promote a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all protocols while working on pressurized equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance and rebuild projects are completed on time and according to standard operating procedures.

• Proven practical experience in the maintenance of boiler systems.
• Demonstrated history of successfully disassembling, repairing, and rebuilding boilers.
• Background working with both high-pressure and low-pressure boiler configurations.
• Expertise in the mechanical processes of removing, assessing, and installing boiler parts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in the safe operation of hand and power tools within a professional mechanical or boiler service setting.
