DSP Generalist ​/ Multiple Locations

The Arc of Centre County is hiring a Full-Time DSP Generalist to support adults with IDD/A in their homes and communities. This is a multi-site role. Job Title:

DSP Generalist Pay: $20 hour + Shift Differentials + $1,200 Sign-On Bonus

Location:

Multiple Group Homes in State College & Bellefonte, PA

Schedule:

Full-Time (Part-Time also available)
Schedule & Pay Starting pay: $20 hour

Up to $1,200 sign-on bonus

Additional $1/hour for nights, weekends, and holidays

Professional Development / NADSP Credentialing (earn up to $3 more per hour!)Required Qualifications
18 years of age or older

High School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license

Able to pass required physical, and TB screening

Able to assist with physical supports including lifting, bending, standing, and transferring as needed

Preferred Qualifications Experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism (IDD/A)
Experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, or healthcare

What You'll DoAs a DSP Generalist, you'll work at multiple programs helping adults with IDD/A live more independent, fulfilling lives by:

Assisting with activities of daily living like cooking, hygiene, & routines

Administering medications and following support plans

Encouraging community participation, recreation, and social activities

Providing transportation to appointments & community outings
