Systems Engineer Associate

Requirements

• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory before your start date.
• U.S. citizenship is essential, as only U.S. citizens can qualify for a security clearance.
• Current TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

• In the role of Systems Engineer II, you will play a vital part in the continuous development of an advanced hybrid software system. Your contributions will include:
• Executing multiple facets of the systems engineering lifecycle, which encompasses requirements decomposition into software functions, system performance analysis, and oversight of software development and system integration testing.
• Engaging with the agile development team to discuss technical concerns, risks, and issue resolution related to system capabilities.
• Performing necessary analyses to define and document requirements for software releases, working alongside the Requirements Manager to maintain up-to-date requirements traceability matrices.
• Collaborating closely with the Systems Engineering Team and Developers to ensure both software and system requirements are being fulfilled and coordinating additional support when necessary.
• Assisting in the testing, training, and implementation of new platform technologies and code quality practices.
• Supporting Agile development teams by offering best practices for software development in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) environment.
• Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, adapt to changing circumstances, and communicate appropriately within the organization to drive processes to successful completion.

We are looking for someone who typically possesses a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and has at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Experience in systems engineering lifecycle phases, agile software development, and an active TS/SCI security clearance prior to starting is a must. Preferred candidates will have experience interacting with technical and programmatic representatives, possess a background in SIGINT, GEOINT, or Multi-INT, and have robust communication and organizational skills. A familiarity with cloud-based software architectures and agile tools like JIRA and Confluence will be beneficial.
