• Design, plan, implement, test, document, and deliver high‑quality software applications and systems
• Ensure solutions meet standards for quality, testability, maintainability, scalability, and security
• Advocate for and contribute to robust test automation capabilities
• Perform code maintenance and manage technical debt while optimizing the developer experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects, including issues beyond your immediate area of expertise

• Serve as a subject matter expert across product features, technologies, or systems
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders on design and architecture
• Share knowledge through documentation, tech talks, and team learning sessions
• Mentor junior team members and support their growth

• Maintain high‑quality production software through ongoing support
• Participate in on‑call rotations as needed
• Lead investigations into incidents and defects, including root cause analysis and follow‑up actions

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects successfully
• Plan and manage backlogs for medium to large features or projects
• Enable incremental, iterative delivery with predictable velocity
• Manage risks and competing priorities through proactive communication
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on goals, priorities, and risks
• Provide thoughtful, thorough, and timely code reviews

• Maintain a strong commitment to continuous learning and skill development
• Share knowledge and contribute to the growth of your team and peers

• 5+ years of progressive commercial software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English

This position is onsite at our State College, PA headquarters. Remote work is not an option.
