What You’ll Do Develop & Maintain Software Products and Systems- Design, plan, implement, test, document, and deliver high‑quality software applications and systems
- Ensure solutions meet standards for quality, testability, maintainability, scalability and security
- Advocate for and contribute to robust test automation capabilities
- Perform code maintenance and manage technical debt while optimizing the developer experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects, including issues beyond your immediate area of expertise
- Serve as a subject matter expert across product features, technologies or systems
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders on design and architecture
- Share knowledge through documentation, tech talks and team learning sessions
- Mentor junior team members and support their growth
- Maintain high‑quality production software through ongoing support
- Participate in on‑call rotations as needed
- Lead investigations into incidents and defects, including root cause analysis and follow‑up actions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects successfully
- Plan and manage backlogs for medium to large features or projects
- Enable incremental, iterative delivery with predictable velocity
- Manage risks and competing priorities through proactive communication
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on goals, priorities and risks
- Provide thoughtful, thorough, and timely code reviews
- Maintain a strong commitment to continuous learning and skill development
- Share knowledge and contribute to the growth of your team and peers
- 5+ years of progressive commercial software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms and data structures
- Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English

This position is onsite at our State College, PA headquarters; remote work is not an option.
Applicants must be in commuting distance to State College for consideration.
