Job DescriptionThe State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for a High School Boys Volleyball Assistant Coach.
The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Coach as well as providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes and other assistant coaches, as well as supporting our overall vision for the program. We are seeking a positive, passionate, enthusiastic individual who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, andphysicaltraining but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens.
The successful candidate may need to travel with Varsity and Junior Varsity at different times when weekendevents are scheduled. The Assistant Coach reports to, and works closely with, both the Head Coach and the Athletic Directors to determine the goals and direction of the program.
Both the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA require specific safety and coaching training. See the Athletics website for details.
