Part-Time Driver and Chaperone Off-Site RI Courses

Job Description and Position Requirements

Conferences and Institutes is hiring individuals as part-time drivers and chaperones for courses that have off‑site learning components.

• Drive undergraduate students and equipment to off‑site locations.
• Act as the designated chaperone for all class trip activities.
• Perform other course duties assigned by the instructor as warranted.
• Operate a variety of vehicles up to the size of a 15‑passenger van.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of a background check in accordance with University policies. This position requires operating a motor vehicle as part of the job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
