Inventory Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in State College, PA. This role is ideal for someone with stockroom, inventory, warehouse, or materials handling experience who enjoys accurate work, organized processes, and supporting on-time customer fulfillment.

The Inventory Technician will work in a stockroom office environment, picking and staging parts, receiving finished goods, verifying inventory details, and helping ensure materials are available when needed. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in inventory planning and materials management.

• Pick and stage parts and materials accurately using work orders, pick lists, established procedures, and FIFO inventory practices.
• Support on-time customer shipments by completing picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities by scheduled ship dates.
• Receive finished goods into inventory and safely move, store, and handle materials to prevent damage.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and documentation while packaging materials securely for shipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, quality concerns, or other issues that may impact operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following company procedures and safety guidelines.

• Pay: $18 to $20 per hour.
