The Junior Field Engineer supports the successful delivery of complex deep foundation projects by planning, organizing, and overseeing all technical elements of the work. This role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Bauer Foundation Corp.'s values of appreciation, innovation, responsibility, and staying down-to-earth. The Field Engineer actively contributes to technical project work, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities of this position include managing preparation of engineering plans, drawings, and construction details throughout the project lifecycle; preparing and meeting deadlines for completion of assigned work; monitoring field conditions to confirm alignment with design and project expectations; developing and maintaining accurate QC documentation and reports; preparing daily activity reports, weekly cost analyses, and project closeout documentation; coordinating resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards;

identifying, anticipating, and resolving technical and operational challenges; maintaining consistent follow-up to ensure successful project completion; and championing safe practices across all project activities.

Qualifications and requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; a strong work ethic with a commitment to professional growth; attention to detail with clear documentation and communication skills; being a collaborative and respectful team player who values diverse perspectives; critical thinker with problem-solving and decision-making abilities; open to feedback and committed to ethical behavior at all times; willingness to travel to various job sites and adapt to different teams, techniques, and geologic environments;

a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with preference for specialization in geotechnical, structural, or construction fields; two (2) years of experience on geotechnical/foundation projects, preferably involving cutoff walls or soil mixing technologies; and authorization to work in the United States.
