Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff; provide input on hiring, performance, and corrective actions.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing assignments, and patient flow across CPEP including mobile crisis unit and inpatient.
- Ensure compliance with OMH, CMS, Joint Commission, and hospital standards.
- Monitor key performance metrics, incidents, and quality outcomes.
- Support staff onboarding, training, and professional development.
- Serve as designee in Nurse Manager's absence, with authority for staffing and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and represent the department in hospital initiatives.
- BSN required;
Master's preferred. - Current New York State RN license required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive nursing experience preferably in psychiatry/behavioral health.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift light office supplies (up to 20 lbs).
• Frequent use of a computer and phone.

Day shift, 11a-7p & covering one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
