Pediatric Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Per Diem)

Located in Franklin Square, NY

Allied Physicians Group in Staten Island, NY is looking for a passionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as we build a best-in-class Pediatric Urgent Care experience.

What You Will Do

  • Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients—from infants through young adults
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting
  • Deliver reassurance, education, and clear communication to families during high-stress situations
  • Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care
  • Maintain efficient and accurate documentation within athena

    One EMR
  • Support telemedicine integration and patient-centered innovation initiatives

Qualifications

  • Active New York State NP or PA License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • DEA Registration
  • Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and multitasking ability
  • Excellent communication and bedside manner
  • EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus)

Compensation Offered:

Salary - Salary Plan, 80.00 USD Annual

The salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role. Actual salary/rate may vary above or below based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
