The Staten Island Workforce1 Career Center is partnering with Shop Rite to find qualified candidates for various store level opportunities across multiple stores in Staten Island, NY. Shop Rite has ongoing hiring needs across multiple departments and store locations. Available opportunities may include Front End, Grocery, Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat, Seafood, Dairy, Frozen Foods, Prepared Foods, Online Shopping, Maintenance, Receiving, Floral, Pharmacy Support, and Management positions. Successful candidates will be customer-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering friendly and efficient service.

These positions are located across multiple stores in Staten Island, NY.

Responsibilities vary by position and department and may include:

• Providing excellent customer service.
• Assisting customers with products, services, and general inquiries.
• Stocking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
• Preparing, handling, and packaging food products.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Operating equipment and technology required for assigned duties.
• Supporting store operations and departmental goals.
• Following company policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team.

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Open availability for 24/7 stores (including mornings, days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Preferred:
  Retail, grocery, food service, warehouse, or related experience.
