The Operations Coordinator for Housing is responsible for assisting and managing the business, occupancy, and facility operations of University Housing. This position will also act as a department liaison with other offices providing services to students.
Responsibilities- Supervise, train, evaluate, and manage payroll for undergraduate Desk Assistants
- Oversee front desk operations to ensure excellent customer service to students and parents
- Process student housing charges, billing, and occupancy changes impacting student accounts
- Coordinate housing correspondence, including contracts, applications, room assignments, and changes
- Manage break housing approvals, relocations, communications, and billing
- Oversee all summer housing processes and assignments for summer school, camps, and conferences
- Develop and implement efficient front desk and operational processes to enhance service delivery
- Coordinate facility reporting, room inspections, and turnovers to ensure move-in ready spaces
- Manage the key system, central office operations, storage, purchasing, and inventory processes
- Provide exceptional customer service and serve as liaison with campus partners on student housing needs and accommodations

Bachelor's Degree - Required Experience
One (1) or more years of related work experience

- Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position
- Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University’s mission for student success
- Working knowledge of Banner and housing management system computer application
- Must be knowledgeable of laws governing housing accommodations including FERPA, ADA, Title IX, etc
- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
$19.15 - $22.84 per hour
Conditions of Employment- Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of background investigation including a criminal background check demonstrating eligibility with Georgia Southern University.

- Work generally performed in an office environment; work week may occasionally extend beyond 40 hours.
- Travel may be required.
