Provide complex administrative support in the day-to-day operation of the department.
Responsibilities- Manage the daily operation of events, including evening and weekend coverage (with student employee assistants) for the Russell Union, Williams Center, and Nessmith Lane
- Oversee and manage space set‑up and event services requests included in the reservations process for all events; including reviewing and improving function, forms, and communications within the event services process
- Assist with the development and implementation of risk management processes and procedures for students, organizations, event services, and training in coordination with the Assistant Director; including meetings and event planners with moderate to high risk.
- Supervise student staff (Facility Managers and Operations Assistants) and Graduate Assistants as well as coordinate the hiring, scheduling, and training process of student staff for building coverage
- Create and coordinate training on audio‑visual, facilities set up, and van training using best practices on an ongoing basis.
- Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree - Required Experience:
One (1) or more years of related work experience
Proposed Salary: $20.71 per hour
