Assists academic advising by providing a point of contact for information about university degree requirements and processes. Provides administrative support by processing requested changes to students' Degree Works audits, maintaining accurate records for student populations and university events, and completing related projects.
Responsibilities- Update BANNER with attributes to show completion to degree in Degree Works for Graduate and Undergraduate students
- Update students' Degree Works audits with adjustments and petitions for Academic Exception
- Communicate with advisors and other stakeholders regarding Degree Works audit questions
- Maintain accurate student information in Banner
- Audit and confirm completion of degrees for the University
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) or more years of related work experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Banner and Degree Works
$19.71 per hour (non‑exempt and paid biweekly)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Consistently exhibit engaging customer service
- Ability to support various constituencies served by the University
- Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and other applications as required for this position
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support the University's mission for student success
- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relation skills
