Student Assistant
The Student Assistant will support the Center for Rehabilitation and Independent Living as a Disability Personal Trainer on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026. The Student Assistant will support the Super Eagles program, a 10-week program for personal training individuals with disabilities, primarily youth and young adults. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Trains 1 to 4 individuals with disabilities twice a week, each session is an hour long. Up to 12 hours per week. Flexible with schedule of availability. Shifts available Monday/Wednesday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Tuesday/Thursday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Training takes place at Hanner Field House.
Educational Requirements:
Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

ABILITIES:
Consistently exhibit engaging customer service. Ability to support various constituencies served by the University. Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position. KNOWLEDGE:
Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success.
SKILLS:
Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills.
