This position supports Facilities Management business operations, including budget administration, purchasing, financial tracking, and operational coordination. The role serves as a liaison between Facilities and central administrative units and ensures compliance with university and state policies. The position performs moderately complex financial and operational duties with increasing independence and analytical responsibility.
Responsibilities- Support Facilities budget administration by tracking expenditures, assisting with budget adjustments, and preparing basic financial reports.
- Initiate and process business transactions, including purchase orders, payment requests, PCard transactions, and contract-related activities.
- Monitor financial and operational data to ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with University and State policies.
- Coordinate procurement and vendor activities, including tracking purchases, supporting contract renewals, and ensuring timely payments.
- Provide operational support for Facilities functions such as inventory tracking, maintenance contracts, and annual business processes.
- Serve as a liaison to internal departments and respond to inquiries regarding business processes, financial transactions, and Facilities operations.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation while identifying opportunities to improve processes and support efficient operations.
- Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of related work experience.
- Experience working in higher education.
$46,513 per year. This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
