Within this setting, The College of Education ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs to prepare students for careers in public education, community agencies, and higher education. The Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development (), one of four departments within the college, includes four distinct programs:
Educational Leadership, Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Instructional Technology. The programs in Educational Leadership provide graduate degrees with specializations in P-12 and higher education leadership at the master
¿ s, educational specialist, and doctoral levels. The Ed.D. in Educational Leadership is a member of the Carnegie Project on the Educational Doctorate (CPED), reflecting a commitment to practitioner-focused leadership development.
Job Summary
Reporting to the department chair, the Clinical Assistant Professor requires teaching and service responsibilities, as well as a terminal degree. The position involves collaborating with faculty across the College of Education, collaborating with district level personnel to develop district-university partnerships, and performing service to the department, college, university, and professional community. Additional position responsibilities include helping with program direction and support with curricular initiatives.
The position is an academic, non-tenure-track (10-month) appointment.
Required Qualifications
* Earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education Leadership or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in educational leadership, prior to August 1, 2026.
* Minimum five years of administrative leadership experience in the P-12 educational contexts.
* Ability and/or experience leading district-wide initiatives.
* Ability to provide graduate mentorship.
* Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
* Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, curriculum design and development, and program direction.

* Experience working with varied student populations.
* Comprehensive awareness and understanding of current issues facing P-12 educational leadership.

* Ability and/or experience collaborating across stakeholders
