Job Summary
The Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) is accepting applications for part‑time faculty positions to support undergraduate programs in Foundations Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design, and Art Appreciation for the 2026‑2027 academic year. These positions are semester‑by‑semester, on an as‑needed basis.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses.
- Teach in various modalities: face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Fine Arts or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Art supporting course assignment(s).
- Classroom instruction experience in higher education.
- Ability to teach Observational Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design, or Art Appreciation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Consistently exhibit engaging customer service.
- Ability to support various constituencies served by the University.
- Proven proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet institutional goals.
- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills.
