DHH Teacher

• Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
• Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing at a variety of grade levels
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to design and implement individualized instructional plans
• Familiarity with assistive technology and accommodations for hearing loss
• Passion for inclusive education and student advocacy

• Develop, adapt, and deliver instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• Work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to ensure accessible curriculum and optimal student engagement
• Provide direct and consultative instructional services, including assessment of progress and adjustment of strategies as needed
• Support students in developing self-advocacy and communication skills, both academically and socially
• Engage families in the educational process, offering resources and guidance to enhance student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, ongoing documentation of student progress
