Key Qualifications- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing at a variety of grade levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to design and implement individualized instructional plans
- Familiarity with assistive technology and accommodations for hearing loss
- Passion for inclusive education and student advocacy
- Develop, adapt, and deliver instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to ensure accessible curriculum and optimal student engagement
- Provide direct and consultative instructional services, including assessment of progress and adjustment of strategies as needed
- Support students in developing self-advocacy and communication skills, both academically and socially
- Engage families in the educational process, offering resources and guidance to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, ongoing documentation of student progress
