Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of the Office of Institutional Engagement (OIE), the Coordinator of OIE supports the Assistant Director in the design and implementation of initiatives and programs out of the office, including employee education and mentoring, and continuous improvement through assessment strategies. This role works closely with the Assistant Director for the delivery of workshops, events, and initiatives that advance workforce engagement and professional development.

The Coordinator ensures consistent tracking and analysis of program data, particularly focusing on the department's learning management system (LMS) and mentoring program customer relationship management (CRM) platform. A central part of this role will be to collaborate with key campus stakeholders for cross‑departmental and cross‑functional programming.

The position also leads efforts to promote system and process standardization across the university through training and educational sessions. The Coordinator may supervise, directly or indirectly, graduate assistants, student workers, practicum students, and/or interns.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director to create, implement, and assess OIE employee engagement, recognition, and professional development initiatives
  • Administer assessment tools and processes, including data collection, analysis, and reporting that support continuous improvement and program evaluation
  • Lead assessment and optimization of the LMS used for employee education and the CRM used for the mentoring program to identify and address skills and knowledge gaps
  • Coordinate and support the implementation and assessment of campus‑wide engagement and development initiatives in collaboration with campus partners, including the Employee Engagement Survey, Extended Employee Orientation, Leadership Development Institutes, and the University Mentoring Program
