We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the industrial maintenance operations of our automotive manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all machinery, systems, and infrastructure within the plant. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership ability, and proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
- Oversee the smooth operation of facility systems by standardizing maintenance processes, managing paint line conditions, and driving facility enhancements.
- Manage maintenance budgets effectively by overseeing spare parts inventory, sourcing strategies, and cost control measures, including strategies for managing obsolete parts.
- Improve facility performance through system upgrades, replacements, structural enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement long‑term corrective actions to prevent recurrence and support quality assurance.
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all major systems, including:
Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs);
Conveyors, exhaust systems, and bake ovens;
Electrical and utility infrastructure;
Central Water Systems (CWS);
Lighting, inspection equipment, and delivery systems. - Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and external compliance; handle document management for equipment tracking, external vendors, and regulatory reporting.
- Track and improve key metrics such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair); establish and enforce maintenance performance standards.
- Develop and implement standards for restarting equipment and systems following scheduled shutdowns or power interruptions.
- Grade and maintain specialized equipment such as injection molding machines, robotics, coolers, and conveyors, including hydraulic oil analysis and viscosity control.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Must be bilingual in both Korean and English.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading a technical team in a high‑volume, fast‑paced industrial setting.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
- Deep understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
