OSP Field Engineer

New Wave Technology is a company with a focus on fiber optic network and telecommunications systems. Despite being a new company, our leadership and employees have extensive experience in completing turn-key design projects, including planning, design, staking, permitting, and regulatory compliance. We also provide construction inspection and management services, from bid preparation to project close-out.

This is a full-time role for an OSP Field Engineer at New Wave Technology, LLC. This role is located in the Statesboro, Georgia area.

• Interact with internal & external customers and represent our Company and our Client in a professional manner
• Taking aerial and buried field measurements, pole attachment heights and various field surveys
• Previous experience working with utility companies doing cable locating or doing similar work is preferred but not required
• Manage a workload and complete in a timely manner
• Act as interface to external customers on the client's behalf to effectively negotiate service requirements and time frames on existing, future, or unique undertakings
• Coordinate with other entities (utilities, governmental agencies, contractors, developers, etc.) to determine proper and efficient placement of potentially shared/joint use facilities
• Adhere to all Company Safety practices & policies
• No supervisory responsibilities

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Possess a valid state driver’s license and non-negligent driving record
