Loan Closing Specialist

CORE Credit Union is a non-profit financial institution located in Statesboro, GA, with additional branches in Savannah, GA. Our mission is to promote the financial well-being of our members by providing excellent rates on savings and loans with a focus on personal service. We have been serving our members for over 40 years and are dedicated to meeting their needs. We are seeking a Loan Closing Specialist to join our Lending Department.

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate loan documentation and loan files.
• Complete loan closings according to instructions and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with federal lending regulations and lending policies.
• Collaborate with members and lending staff to deliver excellent service.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.

High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 6 months to 2 years of experience in a credit union or financial industry setting, or experience in a role that requires strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong accuracy and attention to detail, excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to work with numbers and data. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Teamwork, problem-solving ability, and proficiency with computer systems and technology are also essential.
