We are seeking a Loan Closing Specialist to join our Lending Department. This role is responsible for preparing loan documents and establishing loan files quickly and accurately, while ensuring compliance with all lending policies, procedures, and federal regulations.

• Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate loan documentation.
• Completing loan closings according to instructions and timelines.
• Ensuring compliance with federal lending regulations.
• Collaborating with members and lending staff to deliver excellent service.
• Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in a credit union or financial industry setting, or experience in a role that requires strong attention to detail.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work with numbers and data.
• Professional demeanor, strong customer service mindset, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Teamwork, problem‑solving ability, and proficiency with computer systems and technology.
