Your missionKeep die casting operations running safely, efficiently, and within specification by combining hands‑on maintenance with data‑driven process control.
What you’ll tackle- Prepare and set up a range of production machines to meet quality targets.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; execute preventative maintenance tasks.
- Support facility upkeep: structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulic systems.
- Carry out machining and bench work to alter/repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.
- Lead statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend analysis; apply adjustments to keep parts in spec.
- Operate a forklift and other motorized equipment when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Intermediate troubleshooting capability in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborative mindset with clear communication and solid interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills for documentation, SPC monitoring, and basic diagnostics.
- Forklift operation ability.
- Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1.5 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
- Lift/carry: frequently 5–25 lbs; occasionally 25–75 lbs; rarely greater than 75 lbs.
- Stand and/or walk continuously over a full shift (8–12 hours).
- Push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach on an occasional to frequent basis over a full shift (8–12 hours).
- Use power/vibrating tools for extended periods (8–12 hours).
- Operate motorized vehicles throughout the shift (8–12 hours).
- Work in environments requiring hearing protection for the full shift (8–12 hours).
